Miami was not designed for movement. It was designed for arrival. What happens in between is something everyone figures out differently — and usually with a story to tell.

Issue #4 explores the many ways people get around this city, or try to. From the Metromover floating above downtown to the scooters abandoned on sidewalks, from the buses that carry the city quietly and without enough credit to the cars that function as a second personality, How to Get Around (or Not) in Miami is an illustrated essay about a city that has never quite solved the question of how to move through itself.

Also in this issue: Megan Roth with No Crying in Shark Diving, her column examining Miami from the particular angle only she occupies. Ryan Wheelbarrow's central spread, I Am Here, a piece of illustration and text that does what Ryan always does — arrives somewhere unexpected and makes you glad you followed. And Trains in Japan, a comic by Avery Hick, presented in partnership with ZineMap, a global network connecting independent comic artists with publications like this one.

Issue #4 is about transportation. But like everything in Miami, it's also about something else entirely.
 
Each issue is a limited edition of 50, hand-drawn and assembled in Miami.
